Kennels Cottage is a lovely rural retreat which is beautifully furnished to an excellent standard. From there we had access to both the east and west coast, Inverness and the Cairngorms so it made a great central base as well as being a lovely, relaxing location in its own right.

Spectacular view over open countryside from the cottage and general peace and quiet. Garden was also big enough to allow kids to run about. Great.

A spacious and well equipped cottage in a lovely setting and we hope we'll be back. This was our 4th time in Scotland and there is still so much to discover. We recommend a visit to Eilean Donan, the road to Applecross and a tour to Dog falls in Glen Affric.

The grounds leading to the accommodation are beautiful. The cottage itself has been very well modernised and feels very homely and comfortable. We spent Christmas week here and couldn't have asked for anything more idyllic especially with the cosy log fire on a cold winter's day/night. It was a perfect peaceful break, we left feeling extremely relaxed. The castle staff were also very helpful, friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be going back again.
